You run a company or a human resources department

The firm works upstream of high-stakes employment and corporate decisions, and in defence once litigation has begun.

The situations in which people seek advice

  • 01

You are considering a reorganisation and want to know the employment timetable before settling the project.

  • 02

You have received a findings letter from the social contribution authority and the reply period is running.

  • 03

A workplace accident has occurred and the question of inexcusable fault arises.

  • 04

You need to part with a senior executive who holds both a corporate office and an employment contract.

  • 05

You are acquiring a company and want to know what employment liabilities you inherit.

  • 06

Your standard contracts and staff rules have not been reviewed for several years.

  • 07

You are recruiting or seconding a foreign national and the work authorisation governs the start date.

What happens at the first contact

You set out the situation and its deadline. The firm checks for conflicts of interest, says whether it can act and within what timescale, then proposes a written fee agreement. That exchange is not charged for.

Conflicts of interest

The firm acts for companies and for employees, never in the same dispute nor for parties whose interests intersect. Conflict checks cover every matter, open and closed, and precede any first meeting.
