The three readings
01
The legal reading
Employment law, social security law and corporate law handled together, because high-stakes matters never fall neatly into just one of the three.
What it rests on
Master's in law, corporate careers option — Lyon III, 1993. HEDAC, the Versailles Court of Appeal bar school. Admitted to the Val-d'Oise Bar in July 2025.
02
The financial reading
A legal decision has a cost, a payment schedule and an effect on the accounts. Quantifying them is part of the advice; ignoring them leaves the client with a decision they cannot weigh.
What it rests on
ICCF certificate in corporate finance — HEC Paris and First Finance, 2026.
03
The operational reading
A solution the teams responsible cannot execute is not a solution. Real timescales, approval chains and administrative load are examined alongside the rest.
What it rests on
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt — École centrale de Paris, 2011. Twenty-five years in industry, eleven of them heading employee relations for a financial group.
Why the poles are not kept apart
Employment law and corporate law are distinct subjects, but the matters that count almost always fall under both. A disposal triggers employee consultations; a director's departure engages both an office and an employment contract; an intra-group reorganisation transfers contracts.
Entrusted to two advisers, such matters advance on two timetables that do not speak to each other. The first symptom is always the same: a signing date fixed without regard to an irreducible consultation period, discovered too late to be recovered.
Holding these subjects together is not a method the firm chose; it is the direct consequence of how it is organised. The benefit is a single timetable. The limit is a capacity that is not a team's, and it is stated before a matter is opened.
